What the features does?

Notice Board as a feature is just an extension of the Timeline feature which gives the user the complete information about various updates that have been pushed onto the app from the admin.

Whereas, Timeline allows you to interact with the updates, Notice Board only allows you to view the notifications and not interact with them.

How the feature looks when in action?

The look and feel of the Notice board feature will be similar to that of Timeline but without the interactive buttons i.e. Like, Share, Comment etc.

How to set-up the feature?

The set-up is similar to the Timeline feature (click on this link to see how to set-up the Timeline feature) but the only configuration that will be switched on will be the "Show Notifications" and the rest will be switched off.

While Notice Board as a feature is a replica of the bulletin board we come across in our work-spaces everyday but even in those a bunch of information that is posted always get missed out by you or me as as user and the same thing thing happens when we come across information on our devices. Thus to mitigate the issue, you can deliberately ping the end user that a notification has been pushed out and he/she should go and check it out. We call it push notifications and it drops a ping on the user's device as and when you would want it to.

We have covered Push Notifications as a topic and you can have a look at the same here, the topic includes:

How to add content to the feature?

As Notice Board is a feature which is largely dependent on the updates that are shared by the the admin. Adding content from the CMS is not an option. Thus, there is no way to add content on the Notice Board from the CMS at this point in time.

With this we have covered the Poll section. Please do reach out to us if you need any further help or you think it can be improved and we would be happy to help.
